Brussels, Belgium: March 13, 2019 Enabling Procurement (www.enablingprocurement.com) (EP) announced today an extended engagement with Vertiv (www.vertiv.com), a leading provider of mission-critical infrastructure technologies in data centres, communication networks, and commercial and industrial environments. Enabling Procurement will assist Vertiv to deliver and implement tens of millions of USD in procurement improvements, and this new engagement represents a four-fold increase in cooperation between Vertiv and EP.
Vertiv, with 20,000 employees and $4.4 billion in annual revenue, was acquired by US-based Platinum Equity in 2016. Vertiv is on the forefront of the shift from legacy data-centres and telecom to edge computing and 5G, emerging industries with evolving supply chains and business models. Enabling Procurement will assist Vertiv in transitioning their supply chain away from “snowflake” designs to more normalized, modular, and repeatable deployments.
“It’s an exciting time in the data centre industry, and Vertiv is an innovative global leader in the market,” said Olivier Durand, UK and Product Development Partner at Enabling Procurement. “We are delighted that Vertiv has engaged us for a second program. Their European organisation is vast and challenging, and it is a real pleasure to have the opportunity to work with their procurement team”
