Industrial
Global manufacturer and distributor of aftermarket-driven professional grade cutting tools, outdoor equipment accessories and parts
We partnered with OT to build and run a global cost reduction programme covering all of their finished goods spend. This included >50 technical product categories commonly used in the forestry and gardening industries e.g., cutting equipment including grinders, trimmers and trimmer lines, files; equipment accesories including tyres, spark plugs, carburetors, fuel filters; Oil and lubricants, and PPE including anticut clothing, gloves, amongst others.
Programme included global RFPs involving suppliers across US, Europe and Asia, and incumbent negotiations with global suppliers.
We established a cross functional programme involving product team, engineering team and Oregon procurement team across US, Europe and Asia. Along with delivering savings, the programme also laid a strong foundation for cross functional ways of working to deliver strong sourcing outcomes on a sustainable basis.
Residential Services
Leading residential services platform specializing in plumbing and HVAC services, operating under various brands in the US
EP was hired by the investors to support them with the pre-acquisition due diligence for LTP platform, which included 6 plumbing and hvac companies that were acquired as part of platform’s value creation strategy. Post acquisition, LTP Board engaged EP to transform procurement capabilities across the group, and to deliver procurement synergies.
We worked together with the subsidiaries to consolidate all HVAC and Plumbing equipment requirements across the group, and tendered or renegotiated agreements. This resulted in much better unit prices as well as a rebate structure yielding multi-million $ benefits annually.
Food & Beverage
One of the fastest growing food brands in the US, Kodiak is a leader in pancake mixes, frozen waffles and oatmeals categories
We partnered with Kodiak to execute a global sourcing programme covering all the key third party spend including Coman, Ingredients, logistics and packaging.
Programme enabled Kodiak to build a compelling cost advantage that unlocked large new contracts with retailers, while also building better supply chain resilience to mitiagate Covid supply shocks
Personal Care
Premium personal care brand in the US that offers consumers personalized products to meet their unique hair and skin needs.
Together with the management team of this ambitious and fast growing scale up company, EP diagnosed and implemented a procurement transformation program covering all important outlays such as ingredients, manufacturing, packaging and distribution to the consumers. The team identified and implemented cost saving and supplier opportunities across the board, with immediate effect.
Digital Services
IN Groupe offers governments and companies identity solutions and secure digital services that integrate electronic, optical and biometric technologies
We overhauled the Procurement tools and processes to ensure legal compliance and commercial performance. We deployed a Project Management tool, created a Purchasing Manual and trained the team. We also ran tenders on logistics and packaging, for the first time bringing all the subsidiaries of the Group into the same exercise.
Hospitality
Italian restaurant chain known for its coal fired pizza and wings. 63 restaurants across the US
We partnered with ACFP to deliver cost reductions across their ingredients and operating supplies to help them in the post Covid period. Key categories sourced included chicken, cheese, produce, oil, gloves, chemicals, and pizza boxes.
The ACFP team was able to put solid agreements in place across the board while maintaining product quality and client experience.
Industrial
Leaader in manufacturing and service of power, cooling and IT infrastructure solutions to data centers, communication networks and industrial facilities.
As part of a procurement transformation at Vertiv, EP was responsible for the PMO and implementation in the European geography, with a dispersed procurement organization of over 100 buyers. Together with the team we ensured delivery of an ambitious preferred supplier program with long term partnerships and immediate expenditure reduction as outputs.
Hospitality
"Mexican from scratch" is the philosophy of this restaurant chain with 2 brands and around 50 locations across 11 states in the US
UJ and EP collaborated on a supply base optimization project including a market consultation on groceries and produce distribution while setting up direct agreements on the ‘center of plate’ cost drivers, as well as a majority of the to go packaging, flatware and operating supplies.
Another project result was a broadening of qualified supplier options in key areas such as proteins, enabling UJ to implement its innovative menu ambitions going forward.

Rapidly growing toilet paper brand offering toilet papers with 100% tree-free fibers
With rapid rise in the demand of its premium grade tissue products, Reel faced cost and availability challenges from their suppliers in South east Asia. We partnered with Reel to build new supply chain in the US for manufacturing premium grade tissue products using alternate fibres
